Reasons to be grumpy

#1 Postby Dave B » May 20th, 2017, 6:56 pm

My back hurts from all the bending and lifting done building the step outside the street door... :cross:

Well, there has to be balance! :D

I hope it's only temporary!

There are three fundamental questions for anyone advocating Brexit:

1. What, precisely, are the significant and tangible benefits of leaving the EU?
2. What damage to the UK and its citizens is an acceptable price to pay for those benefits?
3. Which ruling of the ECJ is most persuasive of the need to leave its jurisdiction?

reasons to nag - you need to look after your back, Dave. Be lazy like me and let the younger ones do it! :D

My neighbour is 20 years younger than me, but some would not believe it!

I don't work out in a gym but I can still get off a low sofa without using my arms, bend down to pick things up, squat for a couple of minutes and get up without a push-up, have a good sense of balance andbother things. Why? Because I don't let others do for me those things I can do myself - fitness by doing! Stamina is another thing, my heart condition and a couple of inactive years can be blamed for that. Slowly re-conditioning.

Though, because I recently ran out of my vascodilator capsules for two days, my BP went up (to a whole 105/65) and I felt better. Now with a new supply I have cut the dose from 2 to 1 a day to see what happens. A walk round town later might show something interesting.

Very glad you are able to face the bowling of life with a straight bat, Dave! Me? Don't need a reason to be grumpy! So, thanks, everyone, but you can stop now!
