The scientists' suicide pact

#1 Postby Maria Mac » January 15th, 2016, 11:14 pm

“The idea that their end-of-life decisions could be interfered with by people with the superstitions of medieval inquisitors astounded them, and alarmed them.”

A very moving story about a remarkable couple. http://www.smh.com.au/interactive/2016/the-big-sleep/

Edited: Goodness knows how but I managed to post this in the wrong place and have now moved it.

Yes, very moving.

There are three fundamental questions for anyone advocating Brexit:

1. What, precisely, are the significant and tangible benefits of leaving the EU?
2. What damage to the UK and its citizens is an acceptable price to pay for those benefits?
3. Which ruling of the ECJ is most persuasive of the need to leave its jurisdiction?
